Wayne Metro empowers individuals and communities to realize their own goals.
Each year, Wayne Metro answers over 130,000 individual requests for assistance in southeastern Michigan. They offer property tax assistance, food support, water and utility assistance, financial coaching, mortgage assistance, domestic violence support, veteran support, youth programs and more. Oakland Livingston Human Service Agency
Oakland Livingston Human Service Agency (OLHSA) is a Community Action Agency formed in 1964 as part of President Lyndon B. Johnson's War on Poverty. OLHSA supports Oakland and Livingston County residents that are looking for assistance in removing the burdens of poverty. They provide individually tailored, wrap-around assistance for all individuals and families in need of help. You can learn more about their services at olhsa.org.
Michigan Medicare/Medicaid Assistance Program (MMAP)
Michigan Medicare/Medicaid Assistance Program (MMAP), is a local volunteer agency, that offers our senior residents a FREE counselor to assist with navigating their individual medical benefits and eligible services. Michigan Homeowner Assistance Fund
If you're a homeowner in the State of Michigan and need help paying your mortgage, avoiding foreclosure, or are experiencing a financial hardship, you can apply for the Michigan Homeowner Assistance Fund, and receive up to $25,000 in homeowner and property tax assistance. St. Joe’s Helpers
St. Joe’s Helpers is a local volunteer organization who assists residents (especially seniors) in need of basic home maintenance and repairs. Their program incurs the costs and labor of the projects by way of volunteers and donations.
